B. S.GROSS-SAFE WORKSTATION
Model RANDOMACC Dual Access Bridge1650
- (Supplied with molecular sieve (Activated Alumina)
- The B. S.GROSS-SAFE WORKSTATIONS use a molecular sieve filter to aid the removal of fumes and odours from the immediate work area.
- The RANDOMACC Dual Access Bridge1650 Gross-Safe workstation has a powerful centrifugal extractor fan which has the power to shift a air volume up to 860 m3/Hr. The fan sucks fume laden air from under the entire perforated work area, and passes all vapours through the large filter which traps and neutralizes the formaldehyde fumes before discharging the treated air.
- This discharged air is recirculated into the room,or the unit can easily be connected to existing fume extracting ducting.
- The perimeter rinse bar is below the perforated work-top and will continuously spray wash water over the inside of the sump, washing waste down the drains and thereby reducing smells and odours even more.
- For added safety all controls of the B. S.GROSS-SAFE WORKSTATION, are mounted high on the unit, out of the way of most accidental splashes.
- The RANDOMACC Bridge 1650 is fitted with a filter, which is supplied filled with Activated Alumina for formaldehyde control.
- Filter Replenish, to change or replenish the filters, first turn the extractor fan off, the filter is accessed from the side. To check or/and replenish the filter; undo the screws on the filter cover and slide the filter out. Lift out the filter, remove its lid and pour out the spent media. Replace with fresh media. Replace the filter cap and screws and slide the filter cartridge back into the filter enclosure, refasten the enclosure front. The filter contains approximately 4Kg of Activated Alumina
- The molecular sieve supplied in the B. S.GROSS-SAFE WORKSTATION is suitable for formaldehyde fume extraction, however if solvent removal is required an alternative and more suitable filter medium (activated carbon) can be supplied.
- Vacuum Break, Both the spray handpiece and the spray rinse bar are fitted with a vacuum breaker to lessen any likelihood that contaminated water can be drawn back into the potable water supply.
- The perforated work surfaces are fully downdraft ventilated, fumes are continually sucked away from the technician and after being passed and processed through the filter, returned into the room, or if connected to ducting passed outside.
- A rinse pipe is fitted under the perforated work plates, this will continuously flush waste down the drain.
- Sink, the sink has a bowl size of 406 mm x 360 mm x 180 mm deep.
- Ventilated worktop, 900 mm x 700 mm with 3 heavy duty removable perforated plates.
- Two faucets are fitted, one controls the under work top rinse bar and the other controls the hand held faucet spout which may be pulled out on its extending hose.
- Lighting, FHE - Fluorescent High Efficiency tubes for the optimised solution for efficient direct lighting.
- High lamp efficacy: up to104 lm/W these lamps provide energy savings: up to 25% compared to T8 tubes in appropriate luminaires
- High colour rendering (Ra85/Class1B)
- Electrical controls all controls for the lights and fan speed are mounted high on the extraction fan end of the RANDOMACC Bridge 1650 easily reached and out of the way of most splashes.
- A halogen spotlight is mounted at each end, these get very hot, and should only be adjusted before turning on.
- The organizer bars and shelves are supplied fitted at each end of the RANDOMACC Bridge 1650 . The multiple screws allow for these allow for these items to be mounted at the height best suited to the operator.
- The work area sump is connected to the waste pipe of the tub, and when the perimeter spray is on, the waste is flushed down the drains.
- The 3 perforated work top sections are easily removed for cleaning.
- The RANDOMACC Dual Access Bridge1650 is made entirely of stainless steel.
